ONCO’nect : Oncology Patient Remote Monitoring Solution now on the market
We announced in our press release of October 09, 2017, the signing of a partnership between Nouveal e-santé and the Henri-Mondor Hospital (AP-HP) to experiment e-fitback for the follow-up of oncology patients.
This partnership led to the development of ONCO’nect: a solution dedicated to the telemonitoring of cancer patients benefiting from the protocols of the medical oncology department of Pr C. Tournigand. This connected tool allows patients to be directly connected to the health care team: it also includes quality-of-life monitoring and real-life data collection on pain and side effects related to prescribed treatments.
After having started as a pilot study, with the aim of testing the tool with patients and the healthcare team, the ONCO’nect solution is now marketed by Nouveal e-santé.
With the protocols developed by the PA-HP medical teams, ONCO’nect helps prevent the adverse effects associated with cancer treatments and adapt the conduct to be maintained for each patient.
ONCO’nect has many features to ensure continuous monitoring: medical questionnaires, detection of risky situations, secure instant messaging, management of upcoming sessions or exchange of medical documents. All data transmitted via the ONCO’nect interface is hosted by an Approved Health Data Provider.
Through this spin-off of the ONCO’nect solution, Nouveal e-santé wants to simplify and secure the care path of patients undergoing chemotherapy (intravenous or oral administration).
