This is the second facility in Créteil to benefit from the remote monitoring application for cancer patients after the Henri-Mondor Hospital (AP-HP). Professor Tournigand, head of the medical oncology department at CHI Créteil and the Henri-Mondor Hospital, was the architect of this innovative initiative, both organizational and technological. Since 2017, he has collaborated with the Lyonnaise Nouveal e-santé SME for the development of this remote monitoring solution.
Thanks to this application, the Créteil CHI Day Hospital (HDJ) will be able to coordinate and secure remote patient follow-up. Thus, the GHT Val-de-Marne Est support facility will improve, at the same time, the inter-treatment follow-up of patients undergoing chemotherapy and the organization of its service in HDJ.
To simplify the task of the teams, avoid tedious re-entries and obtain traceability of all events occurring during the processing period, a computer connector has been developed to interface the remote monitoring solution with ORBIS, Agfa Healthcare Publisher’s CHIC Computerized Patient Record.
Engaged in a process of continuous improvement in the management of cancer patients, CHIC and New e-health should enrich the ONCO’nect solution with new features in order to open this tool to other specialties.
